Giro della Grande Guerra

A day with a ski instructor

We have just started and remain already with no words in front of the wonderful view of the 5 Towers (le 5 Torri) and the Tofane covered in snow. The panorama from the
Refuge Averau is breathtaking. We decide to descend towards Bai de Dones and Cortina d'Ampezzo, aware that the available time is limited and that we will have to come back quickly to the Refuge Averau to get to the new charlift connecting to Croda Negra and reach Col Gallina....but we must get closer to the 5 towers and get a better view!

In this section you will find pictures taken during a tour with friends in the Giro della Grande Guerra anticlockwise. We started from Santa Fosca (Selva di Cadore) next to Hotel Nigritella.

Many thanks to Mr Bernardi (Director of Hotel Nigritella in Selva di Cadore) to Andy and his nice friends.

N.B. The proposed photos are only an indication of the tour of the Grande Guerra. The tour has in fact many variables, lots of places where to stop and unnumerable panoramas.
